Our friends are our family!
I know it’s not said enough so I’m saying it now, we are so very fortunate to be surrounded by such terrific friends who love our children (maybe even more than our own family). I guess that’s what I’m trying to say…our friends ARE our family! We are truly blessed.

KML & Reekie Chuuuu
Am I missing something?
Okay, so sometimes I really question what William thinks about in a day. Today, it was “in retrospect Maggie should have been named with a K, KMag.” Then he goes into how maybe Kaylee & Kyle should have started with an M to match the dog, “Maylee & Myle.” These are the things we IM about…sad. It didn’t end there either. He came home and was asking Kyle if he would like to be called Myle. As usually not much response from Kyle since he has trouble saying his own name, anything would be an improvement. William comes to Kaylee’s room where I’m getting her ready for bed and tells her her name is Maylee, she responds with a grumpy face “my name is Kaylee!” William, “Oh okay, calm down, we were just trying something out!” Kaylee, “No!”
Caught a…. Skunk?

Let me explain a bit first why we are even trapping anything…. We have a huge cat problem in our neighborhood. Since we have moved in six years ago, we have had a litter of kittens born in our backyard each year! We trapped a few years ago and it’s become a problem again especially after they keep killing off my flowers in the front of the house AND since I’ve been having to pick up their stinky poop along with it!
So, I wake up Sunday morning and go check the trap only to rub my eyes and check again what I’m seeing. I’m trying not to laugh and I go wake Will up to tell him he has to come check the trap. He lets Maggie outside and I think we are done for. She rushes the trap and then the skunk is ready to spray but Will is able to call her away before anything happens. I call animal control to let them know we have a surprise for them and we are off to have fun for the day.
Trip to Rose Hills
Just a lazy Sunday morning at the Law house. Nothing too exciting. We took a trip to Rose Hills to visit Ah Ma. Kaylee picked purple Tulips, Ah Ma’s favorite color. The kids had fun running around the grounds. Afterward, we had a nice lunch at Taste of Texas, where Kyle enjoyed listening for the trains and watching as they went by and where we ALL ate way too much.
